Mr. Lynch is a senior finance executive who has operated as a Chief Financial Officer since 2004. His experience over the last 30 years has given him expertise in all aspects of the closely held business’s or not for profit’s financial issues. This includes banking, compliance, risk management, turn around management, cash flow improvement, financial forecasting.
Prior to MLA, Mr. Lynch worked as an independent Chief Financial Officer through Strategic Financial Leadership. Some of his accomplishments included, improving cash flow, reducing monthly financial statement preparation, negotiation of financing packages, identifying and resolving financial deficiencies allowing a not for profit to continue serving its clients.
Prior to Strategic Financial Leadership, Mr. Lynch served as an outsourced Chief Financial Officer for The Lumley Group, where he assisted clients in improving cash flow, financial reporting, negotiating re-financing packages, recruitment of management team employees.
Prior to the Lumley Group, Mr. Lynch served as Director of Business Operations and Director of Finance for Crossroads Community Church. As general revenue grew from $1.8MM to over $5.1MM, Mr. Lynch installed internal controls to deal with the increased cash flow, oversaw the development of contribution tracking software, led a team negotiating a $18MM construction project, led a team negotiating a $19MM credit facility.
Prior to Crossroads, Mr. Lynch worked as a Certified Financial Planner and served as the Controller and Director of Operations for a successful manufacturing turnaround. He also served as VP, Treasurer and Director of Operations for a startup Conference and Retreat Center and as VP & Treasurer for a commercial property management and service company where he established the accounting and budgeting system and helped in the eventual sale of the businesses.
Mr. Lynch is a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Financial Manager as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner. Mr. Lynch holds a BSBA degree from Xavier University.
Mr. Lynch is married, has two children and resides in Loveland, Ohio.
