Mr. Morgan is a Principal for MLA Management Systems, Inc, where he uses his skills in assisting local clients in needs ranging from everyday accounting to business analysis and review.
Mr. Morgan is a seasoned financial manager who brings nearly 20 years of accounting and financial management experience to serve the client. This experience includes grants management, state level funding and reporting, sub-recipient reporting, Human Resource management, budgeting, forecasting, IT utilization, systems development, full accounting oversight and others.
Mr. Morgan last served as a Chief Financial Officer with a local Non Profit corporation. He was fully responsible for all aspects of the Accounting and Human Resource function for the company, which had over 70 employees. Along with financial management, Mr. Morgan also served as the Deputy Director of one of their operations divisions, yielding him valuable experience in systems and personnel management, while meeting the needs of both internal and external customers.
Since his layoff from the non-profit in 2011, Mr. Morgan has worked with MLA as an independent consultant, serving local clients with their financial needs. He has worked with varied types of clients, from mechanical service to advertising to non-profit.
Mr. Morgan holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management/Accounting from Park College.
Mr. Morgan is married, has eight children, one grandchild and resides in Ocala, Florida.
